SERVICES All ships are
on this new Internet Program
Your personal email and internet may be accessed at the Internet
Cafe on board, offering state-of-the-art computers with enhanced
17-inch flat screen monitors. Charges apply, with package rates
available, and are subject to change without notice. You may also
use your own laptop to access the internet and email at select
internet (Wi-Fi) outlets located throughout the ship.
Hours of Operation

For
guests who do not purchase an Internet Time Plan, the Internet
Cafe will close at 11pm the last night of the cruise

guests that have purchased an Internet Time Plan, and have
minutes remaining can continue to login to the systems until
they run out of time or disembark
Pricing
Plans (3 Plans Available)

Minutes will be calculated from the moment a guest logs on to
the computer. It doesn't matter if they are on Word, Excel,
Solitaire, Internet, or email.

Basic
Rate: $0.75 per minute (pay as you go)

Time
Plan #1: 250 minutes for $100 ($0.40 per minute), time plan can
be used anytime throughout the cruise.

Time
Plan #2: 100 minutes for $55 ($0.55 per minute), time plan can
be used anytime throughout the cruise.

No
credit is given for unused time plans.

Guests
who create an email account on the ship are using our CRUISEMAIL
service. An additional $3.95 for each outgoing (sent) message
will be charged to guests account. No additional charge for
incoming emails.

Most
guests will use their personal email accounts (i.e. Hotmail,
MSN, Yahoo, or corporate webmail).
Ship's
CRUISEMAIL service:

This
is for guests who do not have access to their own email service
(i.e. Hotmail, MSN, Yahoo, or corporate webmail).

To use
this service, login to the systems and click the CRUISEMAIL icon
on the desktop.

There is
no notification sent to guests that mail is waiting at this
address, they would have to check it.

Again,
there is an additional charge of $3.95 for each outgoing (sent)
mail. There is no additional charge for emails received.

Their
email address is User name, First initial of guest's first name,
followed by the complete last name, followed by a zero and their
suite number. For example: John Smith in Suite 804 would enter
the following user name: jsmith0804@sscsshadow.cruisemail.net
Lap Top
Computers:
-
If a
guest brings a laptop with a wireless card, they can use
our signal to operate their laptop in the following access
points (Hotspots): in the Internet Cafe, the adjacent video
library, Card Room and Panorama Lounge. The same rates and Time
Plans are available for wireless connections.

Guests
can print from their lap top, they will be directed to a webpage
with the driver for the onboard printer. No charge for printing.

Lap tops
can be used in the suite NOT RECOMMENDED. Guest will unplug the
phone, and plug their lap top, pay $9.50 per minute, same as a
phone call, speed is 9.6Kbps VERY SLOW.

No
internet access except dial up lap top connection is available
in the suites.
Additional Equipment Available in Internet Cafe:

Media Reader for Digital Camera memory sticks. This port can
read any of the 6 variations of memory sticks. This will allow
guests to either email the pictures, or burn them to CD.
